California Bans The Pesticide Chlorpyrifos : NPR

California is banning a pesticide often used by growers of grapes, citrus, almonds and other crops. Sales of chlorpyrifos will be outlawed in the state as of Feb. 6.
So FOUR BIG POINTS pop up about this
1) Aquathin reported concentrations of Chlorpyrifos back in 2002. However, Chlorpyrifos has been around since 1966AND only discovered in drinking water in 1996.
Chlorpyrifos (CPS) is an organophosphate pesticide used on crops, animals, and buildings, and in other settings, to kill a number of pests, including insects, bees and worms.
2) It will take 18 years later that California bans Chlorpyrifos. What were California Citizens supposed to drink while waiting for "BAN" ???
3) California Aquathin Customers never drank "Chlorpyrifos contaminated" drinking water !!!
4) AND AQUATHIN CUSTOMERS AROUND THE WORLD DON'T DRINK "Chlorpyrifos contaminated" drinking water !!!
